The ReBuilder has its roots in TENS and EMS technologies, governed by a sophisticated biofeedback mechanism, and therefore similar contraindications being an electrical implant (pacemaker, spinal stim) or venous thrombosis; that so long as the patient is cleared for normal exercise (stretching, walking, light cycling), they are safe to use it. There are no contraindications with any medications.
Use of the ReBuilder is contraindicated for individuals with pacemakers, implanted defibrillator, or other implanted medical devices. Such use could cause electric shock, burns, electrical interference, or death.
This device is also contraindicated for women that are pregnant and for children under the age of 18. Use only under direct supervision of your physician or healthcare provider if any of the above conditions apply. Do not use directly over an open wound.
